Register for THE STORY OF DRAGONS - WINTER 2021
ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP: They are some of the most terrifying and mystical creatures in folklore worldwide. We’re obsessed with their beauty, power and abilities. No matter what you call them – Quetzlcoatl (MesoAmerica), Ninki Nanka (The Gambia), Shenlong (China), Akhekh (Kemit/Egypt), and Vritra (India) – dragons are a major character in our collective story. In this workshop, we’ll research dragons from around the world – a multitude of different species, behaviors and stories that will inform our own writing. Not only will we build on existing dragon lore, but we’ll take what we’ve learned and create our own dragons, characters and myths that will be told for centuries to come.
